Important Information:
Can I use a human blood glucose meter?
It's not recommended, as the distribution of glucose in human and animal blood differs. Using a human meter may result in significantly lower readings compared to what is accurate for pets.

Unit of Measurement:
The meter displays results in either mmol/L or mg/dL, with easy switching between the two units.

Testing Procedure:
*Insert the appropriate calibration code key (for either cats or dogs).
*Insert a test strip into the meter.
*Use the lancing device to obtain a small blood drop (5μl) from the ear, paw pad, or lip (dogs only).
*Apply the blood to the test strip, and in 5 seconds, the result will be displayed and stored in the meter’s memory.
