LipidoCare Lipid & Cholesterol Control Solution Kit 

The LipidoCare Lipid & Cholesterol Control Solution Kit is designed to verify the performance and accuracy of the LipidoCare Lipid Profile and Total Cholesterol Testing System. Regular quality control testing confirms that your analyser, test strips and testing procedure are functioning correctly, helping to ensure reliable and consistent cholesterol test results. 

Suitable for healthcare professionals, GP surgeries, pharmacies, occupational health providers, wellness screening programmes and home users, the LipidoCare Control Solution Kit is an essential part of routine quality assurance. 

Why Use LipidoCare Control Solution? 

Quality control testing helps verify that your LipidoCare analyser and test strips are working together correctly before patient or self-testing is performed. 

Routine quality control testing is recommended: 

• Before first use of the analyser
• When opening a new batch of test strips
• After analyser cleaning or maintenance
• Following battery replacement
• Whenever results appear inconsistent or unexpected
• As part of routine quality assurance procedures

The LipidoCare system also uses a lot-specific code chip with every new box of lipid test strips to help ensure the analyser is correctly calibrated for each batch.

Simple Quality Control Testing 

1. Allow the analyser, test strip and control solution to reach room temperature (20°C–30°C) for at least 30 minutes. 

1. Insert the appropriate LipidoCare test strip into the analyser. 

1. Enter Control Mode. 

1. Apply the control solution to the test strip. 

1. Close the analyser and allow the test to complete. 

1. Compare the result with the acceptable range supplied with the control solution. 

Results are available in approximately 3 minutes. 

Approximate Number of Quality Control Tests 

The LipidoCare Control Solution Kit can be used for both Lipid Profile and Total Cholesterol quality control testing. 

Lipid Profile Quality Control 

• Approximately 55–57 quality control tests
• Uses approximately 4 drops (35μL) per test

Total Cholesterol Quality Control 

• Approximately 180–200 quality control tests
• Uses approximately 1 drop (10μL) per test

Storage 

Store upright between 2°C and 30°C and protect from strong light. When stored correctly, the control solution remains stable until the expiry date printed on the label.
