Fitting Advice :
* you need at least 3cm hearth height to fit this baby fireplace edge guard.
* To avoid damage should be at least 30cm away from the heat source.
* You must clean the area of all dust and dirt and the area must be fully dry before fitting. Do not test the adhesive for 24 hours.
* For high traffic areas you may require additional adhesive for a more permenanent fit.
* It helps to have 2 people fit the fireplace edge guard to get a tidy fit.
Removal :
Carefully remove the edge protector. Peel away any remaining tape - catch the corners carefully and it will come off easier. A residue of the adhesive may remain in some cases. Use a plastic scraper and some vegetable oil and/or an adhesive remover to get rid of any remaining residue.
